Hey everyone. I'm new here. Uhh......... my name is Kasey. I live in Missouri in the good old US of A. I guess I'm gonna explain why I'm here. Well, I guess it would start with my band program at my school. See, where I'm from you can learn to play an instrument in a band class when you get into the sixth grade. Well, when I hit sixth grade I started to play the tenor saxophone. I really enjoyed it, especially since I had a friend, Avery, there with me. We excelled in that class and continued on into the seventh grade. There we split up. See, I had made the top band at our junior high and he hadn't so I went on without him. At about Thanksgiving that year they were offering an extra-curricular jazz band. Well, jazz was the whole reason I wanted to be in band in the first place so I signed up and had to audition. Lucky me, again, I got accepted as the second tenor player in our top junior high jazz band. Well as I started playing jazz I started to get out there more and listen to the jazz classics.
